FAMILY ORGANIZER APP

A family organizer app for the calendar, the lists and the household budget

One workspace for a couple or a small household: a shared calendar, shopping lists, tasks and project budgets for the trip or the repair. Nothing connects to your bank.

Project budgets: estimated versus paid

Running a home usually means four tools: a calendar, a shopping list, a to-do list and a spreadsheet for the big expenses. Attain OS puts them in one workspace that a couple or a small household shares. The calendar shows everyone's events and task due dates, shopping lists update on each person's device, tasks have owners and dates, and project budgets keep the estimate and the amount paid side by side for a trip, a repair or a party. It is built for households that want fewer places to look, not for personal finance: nothing connects to your bank.

A shared household calendar

Everyone in the workspace sees the same events, with RSVPs and reminders by push and email.

Shopping lists everyone can check off

Lists update across the devices of the people in your workspace as items are added and checked off.

Tasks with owners and due dates

Give a task one or more owners, a due date and a checklist, and let it repeat on a schedule.

Project budgets: estimated versus paid

Track each item's estimate, what you have actually paid, the vendor and a receipt, including partial payments.

Notes and documents alongside

Keep the quote, the warranty or the packing list in Notes and Documents next to the calendar and the budget.

Who this family organizer app is for

Household is a signup type in Attain OS, with a small-seat plan; see Pricing for what it includes. It fits partners, housemates or a family where the adults sign in and share one workspace, and it works in the browser on any device. Everyone in the workspace sees the same calendar, lists, notes and documents. There are no separate profiles for family members who do not sign in, and no chore charts or allowance tracking. The shared calendar app and shared shopping list app pages go deeper on those two parts.

A household budget app for projects, not paychecks

Budgets in Attain OS are project budgets. Create one for the kitchen repair, the summer trip or a birthday party, set the amount you plan to spend, then add items with an estimated amount, what you have actually paid, the vendor and a receipt. Partial payments are recorded on the item, and a bar chart compares your budget, the estimates and the total paid. You can keep several budgets at once. Amounts display in US dollars.

What it does not do

There is no bank connection, no import of transactions and no income tracking, so it will not tell you what you spent on groceries this month. Budgets have no category system and show amounts in US dollars only. The calendar does not sync with Google, Apple or Outlook, and attendees must be members of your workspace. If you want a monthly family budget built from your bank accounts, use a personal-finance app alongside this one.

Real-world scenarios

How teams use it in the real world

A couple plans a week away

They create a budget called Beach week and add the rental with a deposit and a balance as two partial payments, the ferry as an estimate and a dinner out as an item. The travel dates go on the calendar as a multi-day event. A shopping list holds the sunscreen and snacks, and the bar chart shows how far the estimates are from the total paid.

Housemates handle a bathroom repair

One housemate adds the plumber's quote as an estimated item and later records the actual invoice and a receipt. A task for choosing tiles is assigned to the other with a due date, and the plumber's visit goes on the calendar. If the invoice comes in higher, the difference between estimated and paid is visible on the item.
