Real-world scenarios

How teams use it in the real world

Daily Delivery Rounds

A bakery owner runs two delivery vans to 35 cafes each morning. Stops change daily based on orders. Instead of marking up a printed map, they create a Routes record in Attain OS. Atty drafts the sequence based on the stop addresses and time windows, and the owner reviews and adjusts before dispatching.

Field Service Technician Visit Planning

An HVAC company has five techs covering a metro area. Each morning, the dispatcher enters customer tickets into a Routes record. Atty uses the ticket addresses and priority levels to suggest an optimized route. The dispatcher reviews, drags stops as needed, and assigns each route to a tech.

Multi-City Sales Trip

A sales rep plans a week-long trip visiting clients in four cities. They create a Routes record with hotel stops, meeting times, and travel notes. Atty pulls in the client addresses from the People app and drafts a day-by-day itinerary. The rep reviews and publishes the final route to share with the team.

With Atty

How Atty gets you to a near-finished draft faster

  1. 1
    Start Your Route Context

Open the Routes app in Attain OS and create a new record. Give it a name like 'Tuesday Deliveries' and add a few details: date, vehicle, driver. That's enough for Atty to start.

  2. 2
    Add Stops Naturally

Type or paste your stops into the record. Atty recognizes addresses, times, and notes. You can also link to existing contacts from the People app. No need to format perfectly — Atty will organize them.

  3. 3
Ask Atty to Draft the Route

In the Atty chat (web, WhatsApp, or voice), say 'Draft the route for Tuesday.' Atty looks at the stops you added, orders them logically, and creates a draft within the Routes record. You get a sequence with travel estimates and notes.

  4. 4
    Review, Adjust, and Publish

Open the draft. Reorder stops by dragging, add arrival windows, or attach customer instructions from the related Customer Management record. When satisfied, publish. The route is ready for the driver or technician.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can I share a Routes record with my driver?

Yes. Once you publish the Routes record, you can share it via email or WhatsApp using Attain OS's built-in Sharing Hub. The driver sees the stops and instructions. There's no real-time tracking, but they have a static plan they can reference.

Does Atty optimize for traffic or distance?

Atty drafts a logical sequence based on the stop order you provide or the addresses you enter. It does not use live traffic or advanced optimization algorithms. You can manually reorder stops after reviewing the draft.

Can I add notes or attachments to each stop?

Absolutely. Each stop in the Routes record supports notes and linked documents from the Documents app. For example, you can attach a delivery receipt or a customer instruction sheet to the specific stop.

What happens if stops change mid-route?

Open the Routes record and edit the stops. Atty can re-draft the sequence if you ask. The changes are saved immediately. You can then re-share the updated route.
